Voting by proxy

If you cannot attend the AGM but wish to vote OR if you will be attending but prefer to vote in advance, you can use the Proxy Form to register your votes on each resolution that will be presented at the 2026 AGM.

REMEMBER:

• Only one proxy form is allowed for each member.
• All resolutions are recommended unanimously by your board of directors.
• Proxy voting forms must be submitted before 7 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, June 14th, 2026.
• Any forms received after that time will be invalid.

Here's how to use the Proxy Form:

1. Scroll down to read the list of resolutions.  Underneath the list are links to documents you may wish to read.  At the bottom of this page is a proxy voting form that you will use to register your vote. 
2. When you have read and thought about the resolution and are ready to vote, scroll down to the area entitled Burton Charitable Foundation 2026 AGM Proxy Voting Form and look for the resolution you are ready to vote on.
3. Click on the box for the resolution you are voting on and your cursor will show up in that box. 
4. If you wish to vote YES, then type Y or Yes.
5. If you wish to vote NO, then type N or No.
6. If you wish to ABSTAIN FROM VOTING, then leave the field blank.
7. Continue in this fashion for each of the resolutions listed.
8. When you have voted for all of the resolutions, fill in your name and email address at the bottom of the form. Then click on SUBMIT and your form will be registered with our Secretary-Treasurer.
